PPAk Study Program Conducts Online National Webinar
Denpasar, 1 August 2020 Profession Study Program of Accountant Education FEB Unud held a National Webinar online using cisco webex meetings. This time the National Webinar raised the theme "Revitalizing Education, Anticipating Prospects, and Actualization of the Professional Accountant". The event was organized by PPAk FEB Unud Study Program in collaboration with the Udayana Accountant Professional Education Alumni Association (IPPAYANA), Indonesian Accountants Association (IAI - Bali), Indonesian Public Accountant Institute (IAPI - Bali). The event was attended by participants from various professions, including lecturers, students, entrepreneurs, private employees, civil servants, professional associations, and so on with the number of participants reaching 1011 people. Most of these professions are PPAk study program alumni.
Today's National Webinar event was opened by the Vice Dean for Academic and Planning, Dr. Ida Bagus Putu Purbadharmaja, SE., ME. In his remarks, he delivered referring to Law No. 12 of 2012 professional education is higher education after the undergraduate program that prepares students in jobs that require special requirements. He also said that PPAk study program graduates can enter various sectors including auditors, financial managers, financial analysis and others. So that PPAk study program graduates have expertise according to their competencies in entering the job market and can even create jobs. With the implementation of the National Webinar today, the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Planning hopes to be able to provide benefits and be able to enrich insights in developing competencies in the field of accountants. He also expressed his deepest gratitude to the speakers who were pleased to share their knowledge for participants of today's national webinar. At the end of his remarks, he officially opened the National Webinar.
The National Webinar is divided into 2 panels by presenting 5 speakers. The first panel began with the presentation of material and discussion by Mr. Tarkosunaryo, MBA, CPA (Chair of the Central IAI) with the topic of discussion on "CPA: Prospects and Processes". The second presentation of material, was presented by Prof. Dr. Slamet Sugiri., MBA., CMA., CA., Ak. (Head of PPAk Study Program Faculty of Economics and Business UGM Professor of the Faculty of Economics and Business UGM) with the topic "Revitalizing Accountant Professional Education". The final presentation of the material on the first panel, was presented by guest speaker Mr. Agus Fredy Maradona, PhD, Ak, CA, CPA (Chairperson of IPPAYANA (Institute of Professional Education, Udayana Accountant Udayana, Vice Chancellor IV Undiknas University) with the topic "IPPAYANA: building synergy of alumni, profession , and campus ". After a gap of about 15 minutes, the program was then continued with a second panel, which was filled with material presentation and discussion from Mr. Prof. Dr. Budi Frensidy (Professor of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Indonesia) on the topic" Valuation of the Period Covid Pandemic 19 ". The second material presentation was presented by the speaker Mr. Prof. Dr. I Wayan Ramantha, SE, MM, Ak., CPA (Advisory Board of the Indonesian Accountant Association of the Bali Region, Professor of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University) on the topic of material "The Importance and Urgency of Triple Bottom Line Accounting." The event was closed by Mr. PPAk Study Program Coordinator by giving thanks and gratitude as he extended his remarks to the speakers today, the participants and also did not forget, he thanked the organizing committee so that today's National Webinar can be held well.
