Udayana University through the Student Affairs Bureau of Udayana University held Guidance on the Introduction of Timely Learning Systems and Development of National and State Life (Character Education) for students receiving the 2021 KIP Lectures which took place online through Cisco Webex, Tuesday (02/11/2021).
Chairman of the Committee Ir. Ida Bagus Wayan Gunam, MP, Ph.D. said that the KIP Lecture scholarship is a continuation of the Bidikmisi scholarship program which is intended for students who are economically disadvantaged, but have good academic abilities. Through this guidance activity, it is hoped that students, especially KIPK scholarship recipients, will know the strategy from the start so that their studies can run on time and are also provided with coaching in the field of character education, so that when they graduate, they can become people who have good insight into the life of a nation and state.
Meanwhile, the Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Prof. Ngakan Putu Gede Suardana in his speech said that study on time is one of the performance contracts between the Rector and the Ministry with a target of 65% of students graduating on time. To achieve this, of course, it is expected that students must study diligently, not wasting time and make strategies so that they can graduate on time. Students, especially KIPK scholarship recipients, are expected to take steps in completing their education, so that the graduation target as contracted with the Ministry is achieved. It is also hoped that KIPK recipient students can excel during their education at Udayana University.
Two speakers were present in the implementation of this activity, namely Prof. Dr. Ir. G.P. Men's Doubles, M.P. with the material on Timely Learning Process Guidance and Dr. I Ketut Gede Harsana, S.Ag., M.Sc. with Character Education material.
