Selection of Senate Members for Deputy Lecturers instead of Professors of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University

The Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University held a Coordination Meeting for the Selection Committee for the Selection of Members of the Senate for Non-Professional Lecturers of the Faculty of Economics and Business at Udayana University on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at 18.00 WITA. Meetings held online have the following agenda: Verification of registration documents for prospective members of the faculty senate for non-professor vice lecturers and the determination of candidates for faculty senate members for non-professor vice lecturers.

The coordination meeting was attended by the event organizing committee and opened by the Chairperson of the Committee, Dr. I Gusti Ngurah Agung Suaryana, S.E., M.Si (Vice Dean for General Affairs and Finance). In his opening remarks, the Chair of the Committee reported that there were 4 lecturers who registered as candidates for the senate members who were not professors, and even though the number of registrants was the same as the number of available quotas, in accordance with the rules, the election by voting would still be held.

Furthermore, the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University, Agoes Ganesha Rahyuda, S.E., M.T., Ph.D conveyed the direction that the Chair of the Committee and all committees always adhere to the Regulation of the Chancellor of Udayana University Number 1 of 2022 concerning the Faculty Senate in carrying out the election process.

In the process of verifying the files for prospective senate members based on Article 3 paragraph 1 of the Udayana University Chancellor's Regulation Number 1 of 2022 which states the requirements to become a member of the faculty senate, the result is that all prospective members of the senate are declared eligible to be appointed as candidates for the deputy faculty senate members. lecturer not professor. The names of the four candidate members of the faculty senate for non-professor vice lecturers are: Ni Made Rastini, S.E., M.M and Dr. Putu Yudi Setiawan, S.T., M.M (Management Program), Dr. I Nyoman Mahaendra Yasa, S.E., M.Si (Development Economics Program) and Dr. Maria Mediatrix Ratna Sari, S.E., M.Sc., Ak., CA. (Accounting Program). Furthermore, the committee made preparations to carry out the process of selecting members of the senate for lecturers and non-professors.
