The event was hosted by Prof. Dr. Budi Hermana, M.M. it takes the theme "Return Water To Earth". Other resource persons who attended this event were Prof. Dr. Nadjadji Anwar, M.Sc., Dr. Ir. H. Moch. Amron, M.Sc., and Ir. Fatchy Muhammad.
Prof. IB Wyasa Putra in his material conveyed the topic of "Subak". As is known, the facts about subak still exist and function well in maintaining the function of the system and irrigation of rice fields and cultivation in Bali. Based on classical manuscripts or literature in Bali, answers were found regarding the Subak system in Bali that still survives and functions well to this day. The manuscript also states that subak and water are like humans and their own reflection, water as the first mirror on Earth's surface and an eternal mirror for human life. If the water is lost, then the shadow of the human face and the human itself will also disappear.
It can be said that this subak is not just a human community, but a collection of human awareness about their own identity, human identity and water. With water man maintains his own image and with water man maintains his life. If humans want their lives to continue to exist and flow then humans need to maintain water so that water continues to exist and flow. Subaks in Bali never try to eliminate water but always try to preserve water, where water is Subak's awareness of their existence.
